About the Faculty

The Faculty of Mechanical and Chemical Engineering (FMCE) is home to a diverse group of academics and students. The range of engineering skills available at FMCE includes Bio-energy Production, Polymeric Material Synthesis, Reaction kinetics and Design, Material Development for Water treatment, Innovative Materials for Solar PV, Environmental Engineering , Process Systems Engineering, Industrial Biotechnology, Catalysis, Material Development for Battery Technology, Advanced Material Development, Silicate Technology, Green Hydrogen etc.

At FMCE, we leverage these skills to provide solutions for Ghana and the African continent. As a Faculty we promote collaborations between our academic staff and local and international partners.

The professional competences demonstrated by our academic staff has ensures that all projects carried at the FMCE produce great outcomes.
